Key Features
- This is a standard mortar.
- The comb patterns inside are manually made by craftsmen.
- It is an authentic mortar with good grinding functionality.
- Size 4 and 5 are intended for grinding only sesame. If used for mixing ingredients, not only grinding, Size 6 and 7 are more appropriate. Sie 8 is recommended for use for at least 5 servings.
- The silicon rubber base prevents the table getting scratched and provides stable and smooth grinding even with one hand.
Use & Care
- The white circle trace inside is powder that prevents mortars sticking when nested for baking.
- Before first use, wash inside with a scourer to remove white powder (the powder is totally safe and harmless even when accidentally getting in mouth.)
- Compatible with microwaves, dishwashers, and boiling sterilization.
- The glass coating inside prevents water absorption and stains (except heavy stains) can be removed by washing with a sponge.
- When stains get stuck in the comb patterns, they can ve removed by scrubbing with a scourer.
